Surviving High School graduates from mobile to iPhone

Surviving High School is coming to iPhone following its original mobile release earlier this year, EA today announced.

The game sees you taking on the role of a high school student thrust into daily social battles between jocks, nerds, outsiders, and the popular crowd.

Snappy, biting dialogue seems to be the attraction here. Branching conversations allow you to influence your character's outcome.

Gameplay is structured according to episodes that consist of mini-games such as contriving rhyming disses to be levelled at your rival classmates. Ultimately, your goal is to score a date with the boy or girl of your dreams.

While we weren't so hot on the mini-games, there's the promise of new episodes and potentially new mini-games to be downloaded in this iPhone version. New episodes will be made available each week.

EA claims that some will be free of charge, though others will require purchase. Pricing has yet to be determined.

Surviving High School is expected on the App Store later this autumn.
