It seems the race is on to fully digitise the athletics realm, what with the Olympic Games just around the track. We reported on the forthcoming HeroCraft game a few months back, and although it seems there's no official (and presumably costly) Olympic affiliation, everything else appears fully intact.

Some decent sized graphics (especially for an athletics game, which usually have a lot to pack into the small mobile screen) accompany the five different Summer Games contests of weightlifting, rowing, hurdles, javelin and long jump in three different modes of play.

The release comes with a handful of new screenshots, so check them out, along with this video of the game in action, and start gearing up for the 1000 metre dash toward the big Greek games.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
