Just because you can make a mobile phone game in all-singing all-dancing 3D, doesn't mean you necessarily should. Here's a case in point: Sudoku 3D, from Italian developer DS Effects.

Yes, it's the wildly-popular (for a few months last year, anyway) puzzle game, in glorious 3D! Fill in the grid of numbers while, er, spinning it around in a full 3D environment. And then spend even longer puzzling over why you'd want to do such a thing in the first place.

Sarcasm aside, the game has 100 puzzles and three difficulty levels, so it should keep you going for a while. And while there are tens of mobile Sudoku games already available, if you've got a whizzy 3D handset, you might fancy this one to show off its capabilities. Or you might not.
