Having released its popular Stickman Skater in the spring, Australian studio Traction Games has revisited the character, this is time placing him on a BMX bike.

Released earlier this week in iPhone, iPad and respective free Lite versions, Stickman BMX, already shot into the #3 position in the US games chart.

Don't park, ride

As you'd expect, the game is a 2D sidescroller, heavy on the physics, with 60 levels, including forests, cities, oil refineries and hell, for you move and trick through.

There are plenty of routes through each level, including hidden tracks. Leaderboards and achievements are handled via Game Center.

Released as a paid download - 99c/79c/69p for the iPhone version and $1.99/€1.59/£1.49 for the iPad version - you can also access additional content, such as 30 new levels in a Race the Ace mode, and the ability to swap your BMX for a skateboard via in-app purchases.

You can get some ides of where you're BMX-ing via the following cinematic trailer.
