If you thought you’d had your fill of bubble popping, color matching puzzle games, think again. Tiny Bubbles arrives today to make you rethink everything you knew about mobile puzzles. It plays a bit like a grade-school science experiment, with tiny soap bubbles magnified on a petri dish. You’ll match and create colors in your soapy solution to free friendly sea creatures.

Tiny Bubbles came in second place at our Big Indie Pitch at GDC 2018, and for good reason. Based on the work of the developer’s MIT scientist grandfather, Tiny Bubbles presents the player with charming, physically accurate digital soap bubbles painstakingly rendered by the game’s custom molecular dynamics engine. The bubbles cluster together realistically as you fill them with colored smoke to reshape the fizzy formations and match colors.

The game boasts about 15 - 20 hours of gameplay with 172 puzzles to beat. You’ll find several different challenge modes, too—Arcade Worlds, Puzzle Worlds, and Infinity Mode—that will ask you to think in fresh ways.

Tiny Bubbles is out now on the App Store, with an Android release set to launch later this month.
