Following a reveal earlier this year, developer Over The Moon has announced that their robotic point-n-click The Fall Part 2: Unbound will be coming to Switch and other platforms in early 2018.

Much like the first Fall, Unbound will explore themes of artificial intelligence, existence, and identity, as the freed AI Arid leaps between different machines and their bizarre lives in pursuit of her own goals.

Each inhabited machine offers a window into different themes and stories, such as a robot breaking free of a collective hive mind and struggling to maintain its individuality as "the many" seek to reintegrate him.

The Fall games mix adventure game mechanics with combat and other gameplay, so you'll find yourself solving puzzles in one section while engaging in timing-based melee or acrobatic shootouts in others.

The Fall Part 2: Unbound is expected to release in the first weeks of February 2018, for Switch, Steam, and consoles. A recent developer video provides a look at new gameplay details and segments.
