Yesterday evening, Stardew Valley's solo developer ConcernedApe (Eric Barone) Tweeted out some interesting news regarding the coming months, and it's going to be a tough wait to hear more.

Stardew Valley is a farming/life simulator where you take over your grandpa's farm, make friends, and settle into your newly rural life. It's the type of game that's both moreish and utterly relaxing, as we mentioned in our review, and continues to hold a top place in the eShop charts (currently #3 in both the UK and US).

Though this mysterious new update hasn't gotten a name or any real details yet, we know it'll be bringing more content. Tweeted alongside the information was a picture of a purple-pink boat, so perhaps things'll be expanding slightly outside the valley?

It looks like the update will be coming to PC first with console (Switch included) to follow, so we'll have to wait and see. ConcernedApe promised to share more information when the release gets closer, but it's going to be a delightful double-whammy of new content and multiplayer in the end.
