[Update] Cross-platform MMORPG AdventureQuest 3D open beta delayed until today

Updated 19th October, 09:26 AM: Feel free to scream chaotically and maybe cry a little as AdventureQuest 3D has been delayed to today.

Well, that's actually not long to wait. So chin up and go about your day. The open beta will be here in no time, I'm sure. In the words of the devs: "And once your Hulk like rage dissipates and you return to your normal Bruce Banner like state, please share a silent nod with me knowing that this was for the good of the game."

In case you missed the news recently, AdventureQuest 3D has itself a lovely open beta planned across a bunch of different platforms, and it's hopefully going live today.

AdventureQuest 3D is a cross-platformer MMORPG which lets you play in the same world as your friends, even if you're not using the same device. Set in the deadliest era of AdventureQuest's timeline, it's your duty to answer the call of a new threat and to travel to the legendary town of Battleon. There you'll discover unusual characters, amazing adventures, and a world so big it isn't entirely written yet.

According to their webpage, the game is meant to push its open beta live today, though its lack of links, lack of flailing, and a somewhat quiet blog suggests it might not happen for another few hours.

So far the open beta is happening is happening on iOS and Android phones/tablets, and on Steam for PC/Mac.
