ESRB listing shows new Star Wars game isn't far, far away

Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron revealed for DS and PSP

A surprise listing on the ESRB games ratings website has inadvertently revealed a new DS and PSP addition to LucasArts's prolific Star Wars Battlefront series, entitled Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron.

Although the details have since been pulled from the listing, it gave away the following information prior to any official announcement from George's game studio:

"This is an action game in which players experience different battles from the Star Wars universe. Presented in a third-person perspective, the game allows players to engage in space, land, and air battles or build troops and upgrade armies."

Previous instalments of the series on the PSP and on mobile have been mostly well received, though this will mark the series' first entry onto Nintendo's handheld.

No release date yet, but as soon as we sense its presence, we'll send you a hologram.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
