Secret Exit’s ragdoll-pushing casual hit from the iPhone, Star Dismount, has collapsed onto the Android Market today, bringing its unique blend of masochistic limb-bashing to the platform for the first time.

As opposed to other ragdoll-inspired games like Camel Games’s Shoot U, Stair Dismount literally revolves around the simple task of pushing a poor guy / gal down a flight of increasingly complicated stairs in an effort to break as many (fictional) bones as possible.

While doing this in real life leads to heartache and prison time, it leads to stars and points in Stair Dismount. Real life is so inherently dull.

You can pop your face (or a friend’s) on the dolls to add a bit of personality to proceedings, link up with OpenFeint, or shove the Android-exclusive character - the green robot - comically down the steps of an aircraft onto the red carpet.

The game recently featured in our Best Physics Puzzle Games on iPhone feature, so it’s well worth checking out - especially as the Android version is free (with extra, fancier levels and characters available for purchase in-app).

You can download Stair Dismount by following this link to the Android Market.
