Lavafish Studios's rather excellent Pocket Gamer Gold Award-winning Squirmee and the Puzzling Tree has received a "massive" update, along with an all-new name.

Now called Squirmee Redux, all 75 levels of the game have been "re-visited and re-imagined', with the aim of making them easier and more enjoyable.

Most of the levels in the Ice Tree section of the game are now entirely new, the Earth Tree section has been "completely redone", and the Fire Tree's difficulty been "eased back".

Finally, there's a new 'Tap to Begin' feature in every single level, which allows you to view the action before you jump in head first.

To celebrate this update, you can grab Squirmee Redux from the App Store for just 69p/99c until October 22nd.
