Tinker with the cogs and gears in your iPhone

Sprocket gears up for the App Store

Reminiscent of the classic boardgame Downfall, Sprocket has just emerged on the App Store and promises would-be engineers a game to suit their mechanical talents.

Simple in principle yet evidently intricate when it comes to fathoming a working machine, Sprocket requires you to add gears to the system to get the 'goal cogs' turning in the right direction.

To make things a bit trickier, only certain gears will work together, and like any good engineering stores, there's a very limited supply of available parts. Head on over to the App Store for a gander, and wind up the 'Track It!' button for more info as it emerges.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
