Spore Origins up next on N-Gage?

Spore, the unique life-spawning gobble-‘em-up conceived by Mr Sims (Will Wright) looks set to crop up on N-Gage in the very near future.

An entry has cropped up on the official N-Gage website with a familiar ‘Coming Soon!’ message, and an official forum has also been setup.

The game will be a version of Spore Origins, which appeared on mobile, iPhone and iPod towards the end of last year. The mobile version’s likely to be the biggest indicator of what to expect, so it’s good to recall our gold-tinged reaction to that.

The game has you developing your bottom-of-the-food-chain organism into an all-devouring predator - all in the cutest way possible, of course. Perhaps the defining feature, though, is a flexible creature editor, which allows you direct control over how your life-form develops.

Here’s hoping we see even more customisation options and a healthy online element when the game finally rolls out on the Nokia platform.
