Spider: Bryce Manor HD coming to iPad soon, contains extra multiplayer mode

Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor was one of the more interesting games to come out on iPhone last year. Made by ex-EA programmer and Edge columnist Randy Smith, along with Tiger Style co-founder David Kalina, it's a strange, innovative, and frankly disgusting casual platformer that's won many admirers and an IGF Best iPhone Game award.

And soon you'll be able to play the iPad version, Spider: Bryce Manor HD. This upscaled reworking of the original is set to have prettier graphics (pictured) and an extra Sidekicks two-player mode in which you and a friend take a spider each around the mysterious Bryce Manor.

To summarise. Advantages: better graphics, extra mode. Disadvantages: bigger spider.

Tiger Style hopes to submit Spider: Bryce Manor HD to Apple this week, so you should get a chance to try it out soon.
