Disney to unleash second wave of Spectrobes
Can they out-Pokemon the Pokemon?
It's long been rumoured that Disney would extend its first original game concept from DS, where it launched in March, onto other consoles. That's all still to be confirmed. But the announcement of Spectrobes II for DS seems to suggest that the company remains bullish about the future of its Pokemon-style creature collection, evolution, battling and online swapping game.
No details, other than a scheduled 2008 release date, have yet come to light, but from the single piece of artwork, it seems that Planetary Patrol Officer Rallen and sidekick Jeena will return with their Spectrobes to battle the evil Krawl.
