Glu has given you the ability to build bug colonies, own the streets, run a world-class circus, and sail the seven seas. Now it's offering you the chance to create a bustling inter-orbit community in Space City.

Touted as "The Jetsons meets SimCity" by senior producer David Kozlowski, the new build-'em-up sees you colonising an asteroid with over 60 buildings, such as restaurants, shopping malls, and entertainment outlets.

You'll have the chance to choose between four unique races - Human, Starling, Puggle, or Dondee - with alien visitors gifting you gameplay benefits and rewards. Friends can also drop by for a futuristic milkshake and to leave you a gift.

Your city is a fully interactive and explorable community which you can navigate using your iPhone's touchscreen, accelerometer, and gyroscope.

Pocket Gamer's Jon Jordan was fortunate enough to get a special hands-on with Space City back in May.

An Android release is expected in the future, but if you own one of those shiny Apple things you can grab the universal app now for free.
