EA stops online support for PSP games
FIFA, Madden, Need for Speed, Fight Night and NBA Live series affected
EA has announced it is to shut down the servers for some of its past PSP releases.
From September 1st, FIFA 06, 2006 FIFA World Cup, Fight Night Round 3, Madden NFL 06 and NBA Live 06 will no longer be playable online, while Need for Speed Most Wanted is destined to suffer the same fate on November 1st.
Naturally, more recent titles, including the forthcoming 2008 editions of the publisher's franchises, are in no way affected by this.
Well, at least not for another few years.
