It may bask in its tag of being Britain’s favourite newspaper but the soaraway Sun is also keen to lay down its credentials as the paper that loves PSP. First up was the presence of its girls at the recent GAME launch of PSP at the Oxford Street store. Now it’s building on that with a marketing tie-in with spooky Australian horror film Wolf Creek, with an exclusive PSP-friendly movie trailer freely available from www.thesun.co.uk/wolfcreek.

“We were the first national newspaper website to offer streamed TV news and showbiz bulletins and now we are the first to give our readers exclusive free Sony PSP downloads with the release of Wolf Creek,” said Danny Rogers, marketing manager at The Sun Online. “We are always looking for new and exciting ways to deliver content to our users and this is a natural progression for us.”

And on a more Sun-like deal, the paper’s Page 3 website, which features archives of its topless lovelies has also got a PSP make-over with specifically formated wallpapers available, albeit at the price of £1 per 12 images.
