With two films - Resident Evil: Apocalypse and House of Flying Daggers - selling over 100,000 copies on UMD in the US, movie studios are ramping up for an ongoing explosion in UMD releases.

Buena Vista Home Entertainment’s line-up consists of: National Treasure, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Reign of Fire, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, Hero, Coyote Ugly: Unrated Extended Cut, Frank Miller's Sin City, The Rock, Shaolin Soccer, Armageddon, From Dusk Till Dawn and Gone in 60 Seconds: Director's Cut.

Universal Studios Home Entertainment’s line-up consists of: Assault on Precinct 13, The Rundown, Van Helsing, Dawn of the Dead: Unrated Director's Cut, The Chronicles of Riddick: Unrated Director's Cut, The Fast and the Furious, American Pie: Unrated Edition, The Bourne Identity and Friday Night Lights.

Paramount Home Entertainment’s line-up consists of: Team America, Coach Carter, Without a Paddle, Sahara, The Italian Job, SpongeBob SquarePants The Movie and Viva La Bam: Volume 1. TV programmes making the switch include Ren and Stimpy Volume 1 1/2 ish, SpongeBob SquarePants: Volume 1, Chappelle's Show: Volume 1 and South Park: Volume 1.

Lions Gate’s line-up consists of: Cabin Fever, House of the Dead, House of 1000 Corpses, Total Recall, Young Guns, First Blood, House of the Dead, National Lampoon’s Van Wilder, Open Water, The Punisher, Saw, Stargate, Step Into Liquid, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Universal Soldier and Young Guns.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s line-up consists of: Coboy Be-Bop, The Dark Crystal, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Labyrinth, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Not Another Teen Movie, Anaconda: Hunt For the Blood Orchid, Black Hawk Down, You Got Served, Man of the House, Steamboy: Director's Cut and xXx: State of the Union.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment’s line-up consists of: Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, I, Robot, Napoleon Dynamite, Predator and Super Troopers.

Prices ranges from $20 - $30. Of course, US movies will only work on US-bought PSPs.
