Sony has added 21 new PSone games to its Japanese PlayStation Store, meaning that owners of PlayStation-certified devices, such as the Xperia Play, in the region can download any of the titles for ¥600 each.

There's no word on when all of these games will be making the journey west - some are already available for download in the UK - but Sony is clearly serious about bringing more content to PlayStation-certified devices.

And with the PlayStation Suite software development kit reaching open beta earlier this month, we can soon look forward to original content created specifically for PlayStation-certified handsets and consoles.
