Cor, it seems like ages since we first saw Sonic Jump. Which is probably because, well, it is ages. We initially clapped thumbs on the game at the E3 show in May last year, when it was being shown off on Sega's stand.

Happily, Sonic Jump is finally going to come out here in the UK, except now it'll be published by Glu Mobile as part of its publishing deal with Sega.

We got hands on with it again at 3GSM last week, and it's looking very good indeed. It's still a vertically-scrolling platformer, with you bouncing Sonic upwards from ledge to ledge, using slick one-thumb controls. It's like a vertical version of Sonic The Hedgehog, although it also reminds us of retro classic Rainbow Islands.

The game's due out before the summer. Until then feast your eyes on these up-to-date screenshots, and click 'Track It!' for an alert when we review it.
