Cuddly physics-based iPhone driving game Snuggle Truck to be updated with multi-platform level editor, level portal
Create your own
Owlchemy Labs's cute and colourful driving game Snuggle Truck will soon be updated to version 1.5 and treated to a number of new goodies.
On top of the 'butt-load' of new free levels, the update will add a level editor - allowing you to build your very own creations.
Although it was only initially intended for the iPad version of the game, the level editor will also allow iPhone and iPod touch players to show off their artistic side. Good work, popular demand.
The level editor will include underground, forest, and desert backdrops, with numerous obstacles, power-ups, decorations, and fuzzy spawners available to tinker with.
Once your level designs have been crafted, you can add them to the all-new Level Portal, which allows you to download, play, rate, and share other people's creations.
I'm just going around the cornerSeveral smaller changes will also be included in Snuggle Truck's forthcoming update, such as the ability to double-tap the screen to activate power-ups, re-position UI elements, and new high-res art to replace old low-res versions.
Owlchemy Labs is aiming to submit the update to Apple in about a week, once the current round of beta testing is complete.
You can grab the Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning Snuggle Truck from the App Store on iPhone for £1.19 / $1.99 / €1.59 and the HD version on iPad for £1.79 / $2.99 / €2.39.
