Snake It! 3D slithering onto mobile and Android
Elongated arcade serpent returns
Russian developer Dynamic Pixels has dropped us a line to let us know a new take on the arcade classic Snake is being released into the wild, called Snake It! 3D.
As the title suggests, this serpentine retro remake takes the game into the third dimension, giving you a snake's eye-view of the action, though you can also play it in its classic mode, from a bird's eye-view.
There's also a human eye-view of Snake It! 3D, as the game also plays in landscape mode - a great feature that far too few mobile games ever experiment with.
It's built using OpenGL ES 1, and the developer promises to keep the 3D gameplay hot and fast. It's also launching global online scoreboards to add a bit of extra competition to the mix.
Snake It! 3D is coming to mobile and Android this month, so keep your snake eye peeled (ahem).
