We've never understood why people get so angry about moles digging up their gardens. A few molehills can be quite an attractive feature, and in any case, moles are friendly and shy creatures who are intensely loyal to their friends.

Anyway, if you're one of the people suffering from mole rage, The Mighty Troglodytes' new mobile game will have immense appeal. It's called Smash The Mole, and sees you playing the wonderfully-named Sven Tomato, who has to defend his garden against an army of mercenary moles hired by rival gardener Vlad Furry.
This involves, well, running round your garden thumping the moles with your giant hammer. However, as you do it they'll be lobbing your own vegetables at you to retaliate. Now that really is cheeky.
There are power-ups to collect as the game progresses, and it's looking like a frenetic action game to test your thumb stamina.
Smash The Mole is due out this month, and is part of TMT's 'Garden Stories' series of games, which includes the already-released Crazy Dog and the upcoming Gob'n'Frog.
