Queen's Wish 2: The Tormentor set to launch near the end of the Summer season

Spideweb Software has announced the release date of the sequel to the popular Empire-builder Queen’s Wish; Queen’s Wish 2: The Tormentor. After the first title saw some good success upon launch, a Kickstarter for a sequel was launched shortly after and has received enough support to warrant Queen’s Wish 2 releasing on Windows, Mac, and iOS.

Queen’s Wish 2 is a massive turn-based fantasy RPG with a deep and open-ended story that will see you venturing through massive castles, huge forts, and sprawling dungeons as you test your wit in intense tactical combat scenarios. There are a ton of different skills, perks, and gear to unlock that will allow you to really customise your party and their abilities to your liking, allowing plenty of player expression and different ways to experience the game, which means even more replayability on top of the different story outcomes on offer. With all of that combined, there’s a lot of content here.

As for what the story involves, you’ll take on the role of the child of the Dread Queen of Haven. Your mother comes down with a fatal illness, so you set out across the land in search of a cure. During these travels, you’ll find yourself in the midst of a desperate power struggle as a rebellion is on the rise. You’ll have to take control of your own lands as well as balance out that struggle and make sure each side comes out happy, so there’s a lot of political intrigue on display here too.

If you’re looking for a solid turn-based adventure with a ton of story-based content and a lot of replayability, Queen’s Wish 2: The Tormentor is definitely perfect for you. If you’d like to check it out, it’s set to launch on August 24th of this year, so keep your eyes peeled to the official website for updates and new trailers!
