Operation: New Earth introduces a bunch of new content with its Xenosaur Invasion event

Developer Hunted Cow Studios has announced that their sci-fi multiplayer strategy game Operation: New Earth will be hosting a new limited-time event that features a previously unseen threat; the Xenosaur Invasion. During this event, players can expect to spend their time gathering new resources alongside unlocking advanced technology to level up their bases and defend against this new threat.

Operation: New Earth is a top-down strategy base-builder that sees players take on the role of a commander of a militant operation to defend Earth from an invasion of alien threats. Think something like Clash of Clans or The Walking Dead: Survivors, and you’re pretty close to the mark.

This one is quite focused on PvP as well much like other genre contemporaries, as while there are plenty of alien threats to defend against, your primary goal is to reduce other human factions to rubble to become the biggest dog in the pound. You’ll do this through strategic RTS-like gameplay as well as upgrading your own base and armies to be capable of handling even the largest threats.

As for the event, the primary addition is the new enemy type; the Xenosaur. This giant dinosaur-like alien is certain to do some massive damage to your fortress if left unchecked. To help you out against this new creature, there will be a handful of new resources to collect as well as an abundance of new technology that you can research to be sure your defenses can handle the monster.

If you’d like to participate in this event and test your own leadership skills against the alien threat, as well as your ability to do battle against other like-minded players, you can download Operation: New Earth for free at either of the links below! In the meantime, you can also check out the official website for more information!
