Archosaur Games, developers of the recent big hit Dragon Raja and World of Kings, has begun the first closed beta test for its newest game Life Makeover. This one is half RPG, half dress-up game. With a genre as unique and rarely seen as dress-up combined with role-playing, it’ll be interesting to see how this one turns out.

Now, to explain what exactly that strange cross of genres means. Life Makeover is meant to emulate the life of a high-class model, wherein you’ll be dressing up your custom made character with expensive brands and flashy clothes, designing your own dresses and suits, and then using all of this to take that character out to meet other players and interact with social settings. It even includes pets! All of this is also included with a function that allows you to decorate your own home as well, and really live out that influencer/fashion designer dream life.

Much like Dragon Raja, Dream Makeover utilises Unreal Engine 4, which is a pretty big deal for mobile games. This allows the title to really detail all of the fabric on the clothes, dresses, and even the hair physics for your character. Of course, this also means the game might be a little more demanding than you may be used to for a pocket RPG, so be aware of that as well. Its semi-doubtful Dream Makeover will see the same numbers as Dragon Raja, as dress-up is not exactly a popular genre, but time will tell.

For now, Dream Makeover is running its first closed beta test globally for both iOS and Android devices. You can find those in either the App Store, for iOS Testflight specifically, or Google Play. If you’re interested in potentially getting access, you can go ahead and sign up for the beta on the official website as well.
