Modernised remake of classic Atari ST action-puzzler Skweek coming to iOS soon

Publisher Freshuu has announced that its second game release for iOS-powered smartphones and tablets will be a "modernised remake" of action-puzzler Skweek, which originally launched on the Atari ST back in 1989.

In case you're unfamiliar with Skweek, it's a top-down title in which you attempt to undo the work of a bunch of tasteless invaders by transforming a dull blue world into a vibrant pink abode.

You can move the protagonist Skweek throughout the game's levels - all of which can be completed in four distinct ways - horizontally and vertically in a Pac-Man-like fashion. Along the way, you'll have to avoid enemies and collect power-ups.

This upcoming iOS version of the game will feature a new control scheme that allows you to play with taps and swipes, as well as support for the Fling controller peripheral.
