Just three months ago, Pocket Gamer emerged blinking into the sunlight (okay, it was March, and it was raining) with a mission to produce the number one site on the web for portable gaming.
We knew (and it's still true today) that few gamers, let alone the average everyday phone punter, had given mobile games a chance. And so we teamed up with UK games publisher I-play to offer you the award-winning Skipping Stone game for free. Many hundreds of you did so.
But all good things must end: the offer runs out on Friday. So if you've not given mobile games a go, do so now.
Skipping Stone won't compete with Tomb Raider: Legend on PSP, let alone the same game on PlayStation 2. It's not meant to. Mobile games are quick, cheap and when they're any good, the emphasis is firmly on fun.
