Ski Jumping 2010 about to land on the mobile slopes

Where's Eddie The Eagle when you need him?

Ski Jumping 2010 about to land on the mobile slopes

There's probably a whole generation of mobile gamers out there who don't remember the winter of 1988, when Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards carried the pride of Britain on his shoulders as he flew through the air to ski jumping success (well, 'success' is probably the wrong word. 'Fame' is probably a little more accurate).

Anyway, thanks to Vivid Games we'll soon be able to recreate those days of high-flying powder as Ski Jumping 2010 prepares to land on your mobile.

The game launches your career as a professional ski jumper as you travel around 26 of the world's most challenging ski jumps, choosing from 49 different characters each with their own skills.

Ski Jumping 2010 has been designed with a new, advanced physics model for the flight simulation by the same team that created the sleeper mobile hit Speedway 2009, and even allows for a four player pass-to-play multiplayer mode on a single handset.

Ski Jumping 2010 is expected to land in early November.

Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
