Following its unveiling of Shaun White Snowboarding on PSP earlier this week, Ubisoft has confirmed the game is also coming to DS.

Like the PSP version, the game on DS has been built from the ground up exclusively for the system. Unlike the PSP one, it features touchscreen controls, which enable you to take control of their boarder using stylus flicks to jump, spin and carve their way through the snow.

The game also features wide-ranging mountain environments (four in total) each of which has numerous different paths you can take, all with their own risks and rewards.

Your rider and their gear is fully customisable and, like the PSP game, you'll be able to earn decals by completing challenges. These decals are a way to both customise your gear and show off your accomplishments, plus they grant you new boarding abilities. You'll also be able to trade these decals with friends over a local wireless connection.

That's not all multiplayer is restricted to, though. The game also has Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection support for up to four players, with various play modes which include races, point competitions and King of the Hill.

Shaun White Snowboarding is down for release across all formats on November 16th in North America. We're not sure if the same release date applies for Europe, but it shouldn't be too far off if not.

Update: Ubisoft has confirmed the game will be released in Europe on both DS and PSP on November 13th.
