Korean publisher Nexon is best known for its grinding hardcore MMORPGs.

So quite what its mobile division is doing releasing a free, ad-supported game like Shadow Move is anyone guess.

Nevertheless, we're very happy it's done so.

Light up my life

Loosely described as Zen Bound with light, you have to carefully rotate different 3D objects in order to match the 2D shadow that each level demands.

The controls take a bit of getting used to as you use one finger to rotate the object in any direction and two to lock rotation within two axis. When you're happy with the shadow you've created, you hit the submit button and if you pass the required accuracy level, it's onto the next puzzle.

There are five themes, each containing 30 stages.

Of course, given this is an at-your-own-pace game - what some call reflective gaming - you either like it or you're immediately bored. In you're in the former case, however, you will really enjoy its calm, if precise, demands.

Out now for iPad and iPhone, Shadow Move is free-to-play, although containing banner adverts.
