Devil Kings: Battle Heroes is coming to PSP

Capcom to release a sequel to the historical action game in Japan

Devil Kings: Battle Heroes is coming to PSP

A new Devil Kings game is heading to PSP. That's according to the latest issue of Japan games magazine Weekly Famitsu.

The magazine has several details on the hack 'n' slash game, entitled Sengoku Basara: Battle Heroes in Japan. Including the news it will differ significantly from the PS2 and Wii versions that have gone before it. While they featured gameplay similar to Koei's Dynasty Warriors games, with hundreds of enemies onscreen at once, Battle Heroes on PSP is a two-on-two combat game.

As well as including single-player, the game features wireless ad-hoc play for up to four fighters in both cooperative and competitive modes.

Sengoku Basara: Battle Heroes is due for release in Japan shortly, but there's no news on a western release for it as yet. The PS2 game's Japanese release was followed by a worldwide edition soon afterwards, though, so we're hoping the same will be the case here. We'll let you know as soon as Capcom makes an announcement.
