Okay, we admit it: this, in effect, is little more than an excuse to bring you the latest batch of screens from Bugbear's increasingly promising PSP version of the multiformat update planned for the classic rally franchise.

So we could tell you about the game's sunny mountain environment and the treacherously twisting roads that await you within it. Or how battling it out with another five cars through changing conditions – from tarmac to worn surface and fresh snow to muddy slush – delivers a wide variety of tracks for players to master.

But most probably you're not even reading this far, having been mesmerised by the Alpine beauty of the screenshots above (some of the later shots are taken from the game's other settings).
