Latest Secret Agent Clank PSP screenshots are promising

Here's the thing. Secret Agent Clank didn't exactly blow us away with his many inventive weapons when we previewed it back in March. We can be difficult to impress like that.

These new shots, however, have got our attention on the game again. Presumably released to accompany the confirmation yesterday that the game is coming on June 17th in the US (25th in Europe), the latest images show the kind of gadgets owners of the previous home console versions have come to expect, of course, along with card- and rhythm-based mini-games.

You'll also note, no doubt, the ability to play as other characters, including Ratchet (the reason Clank embarks on this quest as his chum has got himself locked up for a crime he didn't commit, remember?).

Next stop is the review, which we'll be bringing to you as soon as we're able to. Then and only then will we know if the promise of these (admittedly impressive) screenshots is fulfilled.
