Out now, Scarabeus: Pearls of Nile puts a puzzle twist into Luxor

We've seen plenty of marble popping games based in Egypt.

Well, technically, we've just played a lot of versions of Luxor and various clones, but despite its generic name, Scarabeus: Pearls of Nile puts a particular twist on the action.

Although, instead of action, it's a puzzler in which you have to carefully rotate circular dials to move coloured balls into the correct locations though a maze to release the scarab beetles that are located in the centre of each dial.

Forty levels of puzzling action are available for your delectation.

Developed by Hungarian studios Digital Reality and Catmoon Games, from their successful casual PC game of the same name, Scarabeus: Pearls of Nile is out now, priced $2.99, €2.39 or £1.79.

Check out how it plays in the following video.
