Say What You See: Music Fest for iPhone is a chart success

The App Store is a frighteningly congested place, and with so many new titles arriving every day it's easy to get lost in the shuffle.

It is therefore great to see an app from a first-time developer making such a huge impact on the App Store within its first week on sale.

British developer Big Ideas Corporation sent out a press release today, expressing joy at the fact that its first iPhone game, Say What You See: Music Fest, has entered into the top 10 puzzle apps after only five days on the App Store.

Currently, the game is sitting pretty at number six in the puzzle games chart.

The game takes the form of an interactive canvas, in which the player is tasked with finding band names hidden amongst a scene at a festival. It features what the developer has dubbed 'iCanvases', which are hand painted scenes produced by UK artist Amie Bolissain.

Its always great to see a game become a success on the App Store, and for a developer to get it so right on their first try is very impressive indeed.

Say What You See: Music Fest is currently available for £0.59 on the App Store. There'll be a lite version along soon, and we can expect to see new iCanvases (such as one dedicated to '80s movies) released from September.
