First screens of Tower Bloxx's Christmas makeover
Digital Chocolate's classic puzzler gets its Claus out
You'll probably be aware of Tower Bloxx. Digital Chocolate's skyscraping one-thumb game has been scooping awards and critical plaudits for nearly a year now – read our review to see why.
Hopefully Tower Bloxx 2 will be on the way next year, but in the meantime the publisher is working on a special Christmas-themed edition, called Santa's Tower Bloxx.
Details are scarce on the actual gameplay, but as you can see from these shots, the game looks set to combine the same tower-building action with a suitably wintery graphical theme, with what look like Christmas elves parachuting into your tower, while a Christmas tree sways next to it.
Our spies in the Digital Chocolate office also tell us the game will feature festive music too, although hopefully that doesn't mean Cliff Richard's doing the soundtrack.
Santa's Tower Bloxx will be out in time for Christmas, unsurprisingly. Click 'Track It!' to hear some sleigh bells jingling, ring-ting-tingling when we have a review. (Actually, we'll just send you an email.)
