Every July the sleepy Spanish town of Pamplona is overrun by mad thrill-seekers pursued at close proximity by even madder bulls for the Sanfermines festival (loosely translated as "Get drunk, get gouged and get on the news").

If you find the idea exciting but you're far too sensible or sober to take part then the latest mobile game from Modejo might just be of interest. Entitled Sanfermines 2006, the game is the latest update in a long-standing cartoon-style recreation of the bull-running antics. (No doubt EA is already hovering to snap up the rights).

Not content with the difficulty of merely avoiding several hundred pounds of aggressive beef, the game places all manner of obstacles in your path that have to be negotiated or simply leapt over as rapidly as possible in order to keep the horned one at a safe distance.

Together with simple controls, colourful graphics and eight levels of bull-baiting action, Sanfermines 2006 promises a filling serving of high-steaks action.

Naturally this sort of challenge is a proverbial red rag to us proud Brits, so we'll be heading to the local pub in preparation for our review shortly.
