Six-game Samurai Shodown bundle coming to PSP

Six-game Samurai Shodown bundle coming to PSP

Here's the sort of bargain bundle you don't see getting announced every day. Ignition and SNK Playmore have decided to team up and release Samurai Shodown Anthology on PSP - a bundle which will include a whopping six games, every release since the series first came into existence in 1993.

The game (which is also coming to PlayStation 2 and Wii) won't just contain six instalments from the series but over 48 playable characters from the various titles and, of course, plenty of action.

"This collection gives players the chance to see where the series came from," said Peter Rollinson, product manager for Ignition.

Hmm, we're thinking some players might not necessarily want to once they remember how rubbish graphics were back in the days of the Sega Mega Drive. Still, if the gameplay's up to scratch you can't say it shouldn't offer value for money.

Samurai Shodown Anthology's release date has, so far, only been pinned down to a vague 'winter' release window. Click 'Track It!' for news on a more specific time frame when it comes in, if you think you have the stamina to go on a six samurai game bender.
