Samurai: Way of the Warrior iPhone updated to 1.1

Czech developer Mad Finger Games has today announced the release of a major update to unique cel-shaded action game Samurai: Way of the Warrior.

Our own Tracy Erickson described the game as, “a beautiful hack ‘n’ slash adventure with the potential for a visceral samurai showdown - it just needs to be polished up and unleashed,” in his recent review. It seems the developer has taken heed of gamer feedback and added the required spit and polish.

Samurai: Way of the Warrior now includes AGON Online, a social gaming platform that enables Facebook and Twitter integration, online leaderboards, persistent player profiles, and a friends list.

With a brand new Dojo/Survival mode as well as three new difficulty levels it seems that the replayability issues have also been addressed.

Currently on the App Store on sale for £0.59 or $0.99 (a 66 per cent reduction from its regular price) there's never been a better time to don your kimono and sharpen your katana. Hit 'Buy It!' to go check out the update.
