Samsung's Galaxy tab isn't out until November 1st, but you can trial the potential iPad slayer early if you're lucky (or unlucky) enough to live in London.

According to Electricpig Samsung is putting a limited number of trial Tabs up for 'Tube tests'.

They'll be available from Liverpool Street, Highbury & Islington, and Ealing Broadway for a 48 hour period in an attempt to prove that the device can fit easily into commuters' suit pockets.

Units will be rentable every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until the Galaxy Tab's launch.

If you fancy giving one a whirl, you can book a rental by mailing [email protected], or by sidling up to Samsung's PR people at one of the selected stations.

If you're not sure if Tube testing the Tab is for you, this video walkthrough for the device might help you make up your mind.

For everyone else, the Galaxy Tab lands in stores November 1st.
