Samsung Galaxy Tab price leaked - £599.99 unlocked

The Latin writer Publilius Syrus once said that ‘everything is worth what the purchaser is willing to pay for it’. For purchasers of an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Tab – the South Korean giant’s ‘iPad killer’ – that price is £599.99.
We’ve seen rumours of Samsung’s new tablet PC’s price pop up on the net before, but this latest one comes from one of the confirmed suppliers of the device, and one of the largest electronics retailers in the UK, DSG - owner of PC World and Currys.
There’s no word on whether this price is inclusive of VAT, but even if it is it puts the tablet PC at almost £70 more than the iPad 3G 16GB(£529 compared to £600) and close to £170 more than the baseline iPad wi-fi.
This price is likely to be subsidised by network operators like Vodafone, who have already been confirmed as stocking the new tablet when it launches next month.
