Samsung Galaxy Tablet spotted out in the wild

At the beginning of June we reported on the so called ‘Galaxy Tab,’ Samsung’s Android-powered tablet and potential iPad rival.

Now the device has been spotted out in the wild. As reported by Phandroid, Twitterer “metabaron” took a sneaky snap of someone giving a group presentation with device in hand.

It’s a bit blurry, but sources maintain that the device is real and headed for a Q3 release, so there’s no reason to doubt the image’s authenticity.

The Galaxy Tab will reportedly feature a 7-inch TFT screen, a front-facing camera, and the ability to use it as a phone. All of which could make it the first major iPad rival since the Apple device’s release.
