Samsung Galaxy S III released in the UK - retailers warn of stock shortages
|

The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S III finally touches down on UK shores today, and judging by the über-impressive number of pre-orders taken for the latest and most powerful handset in the Galaxy S line, queues will be forming around the block as we type.

There are quite a few reasons so many people have pre-ordered the device, of course - just check out our hands-on with the phone earlier this month, and how it compares to the iPhone 4S and the HTC One X to discover them.

If you did decide to pre-order the Galaxy S III, you might want to check that it has been dispatched, as various retailers and carriers have been warning of limited stock.

Vodafone says that if you ordered the Pebble Blue version, rather than the white edition, you may well face a wait of 2-4 weeks for delivery, while Amazon has also warned of a "slight delay" over delivering the phone for some customers.

Whatever the case, let us know in the comments if you've received your device, and watch out for our review.
