Astronomical
Unveiled by Samsung at the beginning of this month, the Galaxy S III already appears to be tempting large numbers of consumers to part with their money, if the latest reports from Korea are to be believed.
An unnamed Samsung official has told the Korea Economic Daily that 9 million pre-orders for the forthcoming quad-core Android smartphone have already been placed.
The same source went on to state that the factory in South Korea where Samsung smartphones are built is running at its full capacity of 5 million units / month.
The Galaxy S III goes on sale in Europe from May 29th, and will be rolled out to other regions soon after.
If you fancy joining the reported 9 million other folk who have pre-ordered the Galaxy S III, by the way, you can do so via Amazon UK or Carphone Warehouse.
