SPB Brain Evolution gets clever 2.0 update

SPB Software has announced the release of the second incarnation of the world’s best-selling Windows Mobile game of 2008, SPB Brain Evolution.

Like its predecessor, SPB Brain Evolution 2.0 is a puzzle game for both Windows Mobile Classic and Professional that enables users to maintain mental fitness whilst improving memory, logic, arithmetic and puzzle-solving skill.

As well as the latest finger-friendly user interface and support for 800x480 and 400x240 screen resolutions, the 2.0 update of the popular gaming application also includes 12 exercises, two of which – Geometry and Pairs – are completely new.

The remaining mini-games include Sudoku, Numbers, Arithmetics, Quadronica, Guess Who, Memorica, Encyclopedia, Minesweeper, Matches and Balltracker.

Other new features include a new scoring and progress tracking system where the user’s personal brain evolution is represented in a diagram or score. The update also allows for the sharing of high scores online through either the SPB server or Twitter.

Those familiar with the SPB Brain Evolution series will also find elements from previous versions incorporated into the new release. Included are old favourites, such as multiple profiles, a knowledge base of interesting facts and a variety of different awards for better play, such as the Training Program Completion Certificate.

SPB Brain Evolution 2.0 is available for Windows Mobile touchscreen now at $19.95. However, if you have v1.x the upgrade is half price.
