This Thursday, Scribblenauts developer 5th Cell will release Run Roo Run: a new iPhone and iPad auto-run micro-platformer that sees you help a kangaroo jump over hazards and search for her missing joey.

Unlike the majority of auto-run titles that task you with simply travelling as far as you possibly can (think Jetpack Joyride), Run Roo Run actually features complex levels. 420 of them, to be exact.

These levels are divided into a series of chapters that slowly introduce new gameplay elements into the frantic action, such as double-jump items, fans, spikes, and more.

Ignore me

They're also split into Normal and Extreme difficulty levels, but the latter can be completely ignored if you're not feeling up to the challenge.

5th Cell plans to launch an additional ten free levels on a weekly basis. You won't even need to update your app to get access to them. Handy.

Be sure to check out the trailer below before you leave.
