First Rolando 2 characters revealed
Much to the dismay of the common man
Last week, ngmoco set up a teaser site for Rolando 2, and today the teasing has started in earnest with the introduction of the first two characters. Both are circular, of course, and both are wearing hats. They also have rank in common.
General Sir Richard Smythe is captain of the HMS Plunderful, on which vessel he proadly serves the Rolando royal family and the sages. He has seen many things on his travels, including a variety of exotic fauna. He is the only Rolando who knows the whereabouts of the fabled Golden Orchid.
Lord Derby Disraeli, meanwhile, is an authority on treasure, charged by the royal family with the responsibility of cataloguing the kingdom’s many riches. According to his description, he’s unlikely to enjoy the company of commoners during his voyage on the HMS Plunderful, preferring as he does to commune with the elite.
