Remember Skipping Stone? You should: Pocket Gamer gave it away free in our launch week, because we were such big fans of Gamevil's one-button game.

It's had sequels in South Korea but nothing in the west. Until now. See, Gamevil has announced the release of Rockin' Stone in the US, which is a fully fledged sequel for us westerners. Well, those of us who are Stetson-wearing hamburger munchers, anyway.

New features include a Story mode, new characters, and more power-ups to help your stone skip along the water – which as before, works by you pressing '5' whenever it hits the water surface.

There are also four different game options, including a 'Math' mode that you have to unlock. There'll be eight levels to play through, with characters such as the Alien and the Stone God.

We loved Skipping Stone, but this new game sounds like it'll provide more variety. The only question for us Brits is when we'll see this sequel bounce over to this side of the pond. Rest assured, we'll keep you posted.
